Surfin’ Yogis

Jan 30th – Feb 5th, 2018

A week long exploration into the physical and spiritual benefits yoga and wave riding have to offer.

Surfing and Yoga have a long history of mutual influence on one another. Both practices bring balance, inner peace, and joy to the practitioner’s life. This week long camp was developed to demonstrate for participants how great is feels to be both a surfer and a yogi.

Participants will be staying at the Yoga Farm, a rustic yoga retreat and sustainable living project, that provides simple dorm style accommodations, a daily guided yoga class, and three healthy, primarily vegetarian meals per day.

Price includes seven nights accommodations, three meals a day, daily yoga, a beginner board, daily surf lessons which will very in length from 1-3 hours a day depending on conditions, some video and photos of you in action, and transport to and from various surf spots which will probably involve bouncing around in the back of a pickup truck down the beach. It will be a very fun week 🙂

About Your Instructor

dustin

Dustin Estes is a lifelong surfer who is seriously stoked on teaching people to surf. He will be leading the course through daily surf lessons that will teach participants everything from the basics to more advanced techniques depending on your individual skill level. The course aims not only to develop these skills, but to better each participant’s understanding of how waves work and where they come from, general ocean awareness and safety, and most importantly to foster a love of surfing that will last a lifetime.

Giving Back and Cleaning Up

10% of all proceeds go to the Neighborhood Association of Punta Banco which works to intentionally manage the future of toursim, the local community, and wildlife in the area. Additionally, thorough beach clean-ups will be organized during both weeks as well.
